I love the look of mixing stripes and floral in our home. I'm not sure I have the bravado to do it in my wardrobe, but it's definitely on display in every room of our home. This blue striped chair (also comes in a taupe) and floral rug (that's washable) are perfect for a front entry way. The gold wall floral hooks are my absolute favorite piece in our front entry way, not only is it functional, but so beautiful. I painted the screw tops gold which magically hides how it's hung.
When I thought about having a piece in our entry way I toyed with something so comfortable you could fall asleep in it or something with more structure so guests are encouraged to continue moving inward, I chose the latter. This settee is the first piece of furniture we have when entering, it's comfortable for quick conversations, removing of shoes (we have a no shoe policy in our home) or for a short rest before unloading the groceries.
The accent table would be great for hanging this gold leaf mirror over, for last minute hair checks before leaving. Add the beautiful blue wall clock to stay on time, a framed photo, the lavender filled bird house and a small dish to drop your keys.
